Sonda’s sprawling catalog of production music shifts between pop, electronica, cinematic soundscapes, and hip-hop beats. On many tracks, you can draw comparisons to minimalist maestros like James Blake and Nicolas Jaar. Yet the Australian artist also lists Tom Waits and Kendrick Lamar among his key influences. It feels nigh on impossible to put Sonda in a box. He explains that his music simply “comes from the heart”.
