How does subscription licensing work?
With our Pro subscription plans you can effortlessly license tracks as and when you need to - there is no limit to the number of licenses you can generate within your plan. Each time you license a track within your subscription, this provides perpetual (i.e. everlasting) legal clearance for the use of the track in a single production (within the scope of your chosen plan) and it also attributes an earning to the artist - so it's important to generate a license for each separate project you're working on.
Does my plan cover my clients?
Yes! When you license a track within your plan, this provides clearance for the use of the piece of music in a specific production, irrespective of who may be using, publishing or distributing the content. This means that whether the content is distributed/published by yourself, your own company, a client or another third party, the music is cleared to be used in the production, so long as the content and distribution is within the scope of your chosen plan.
What payment methods do you offer?
We accept all major credit and debit cards.
How long do the licenses last?
All Music Vine licenses are granted in perpetuity - this means that once you have generated the license for a given production, you never need to worry about attaining another license for that content (provided that the usage remains within the scope of your License Agreement).
Are any types of content not permitted?
Certain types of content are not covered by our licenses. For example, adult themed material is not covered unless otherwise agreed by Music Vine. Content that promotes violence, illegal activity or that is deliberately abusive or offensive to any individual or group of people is not permitted.
