Hi there and thank you for your interest in joining Music Vine as an artist!

While Music Vine is now a well-known name in music licensing, we’re actually still a relatively young company - so we’d like to take a moment to introduce ourselves and to explain what is it that makes us tick.

Back in 2015, Music Vine began as a simple idea - to make it easier for filmmakers to discover and license exceptional, authentic tracks, and to provide talented musicians with an elegant licensing platform that does justice to their work. It was clear to us that there was a desperate need for a company with a focus on quality over quantity, and a respect and understanding for the music itself.

Music Vine is also all about democratisation. Our artists enjoy exposure to a diverse global audience of creatives and receive placements with a broad spectrum of productions; from small-scale YouTube channels and indie films to ad campaigns for global brands. Our comprehensive license structure ensures that artists are fairly reimbursed for each and every placement.

At a time when the value of music as a vital asset in media has become threatened by the arrival of licensing companies operating a one-size-fits-all subscription model with radically low prices (read more about our thoughts on this), we have made it our mission to safeguard the integral value of music and the sustainability of our industry by rigorously operating and promoting a fair model. 

We’d also like to touch upon our culture. We take a huge amount of pride in the personal service we provide for our artists. In fact, the relationships we’ve built and the friends we’ve made along the way have been the most rewarding aspects of our journey with Music Vine.

We’re currently looking for talented artists to root themselves in the project at this early stage and to trailblaze in the genres they enjoy writing the most.
